SAN DIEGO—Gear Leather & Fetish has opened its second location in the Hillcrest neighborhood of San Diego, California. The shop is located at 126 Washington Street at Third Avenue, Suite D.
Like its Palm Springs location, Gear San Diego is a leather and fetish lifestyle store for men. Featuring gear for the bar, street and locker room, plus toys, restraints, lube and playroom equipment, the store has a contemporary, masculine, loft-like interior.
“We opened our San Diego store because so many guys from the area were already shopping at our Palm Springs location,” owner John McBain said. “They made so many requests for a San Diego area store that we just had to create one! We’ve worked very hard to build something that is unmatched anywhere in the area and we’re really proud of it.”
Gear San Diego’s opening collection includes leather, neoprene, gym, jocks, tees, pup, underwear and sportswear products from Mr. S, Mr. Riegillio, Cellblock 13, Nasty Pig, Breedwell, Ruff Rider, FLEXgear and more. Most of the gear is exclusive to the store and made and used by real players—like the store’s friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Gear San Diego has also amassed a toy room with sizes from beginner to extreme and everywhere in between. The opening collection includes favorite brands like Fleshjack, Fun Factory, Tantus, Oxballs, Sport Fucker, Men.com, Lovense, Hankey’s, and Square Peg. Amsterdam’s famous Brutus Sling Frame Kits and Rim Seats are available too.
Gear is also set apart by its wide assortment of—and highly competitive pricing on—cock and ball accessories, lubes and male enhancements products. Featured brands include Oxballs, Hunky Junk, Boneyard, Sport Fucker, Elbow Grease, Swiss Navy, Gun Oil, Bator Balm, Slam Dunk, Max Fuel, Hotrod 5000 and many more.
“For almost 20 years, we’ve committed ourselves to bring together the world’s finest brands, price them exceptionally, and offer them in a truly beautiful shopping environment in Palm Springs. We’re so excited to share that experience with guys in San Diego.”
“Please drop in and see us,” McBain added. “We think you’ll really like what we’ve done.”
