Gay Performer Cameron Diggs Arrested in Dallas SWAT Raid

DALLAS—Gay performer Cameron Diggs—who’s made headlines in recent months for his Nazi-themed tattoos and reportedly racist statements and beliefs—was one of four people arrested by Dallas SWAT members Thursday, Feb. 9.

There are few details about the incident, but a Dallas Police Department spokesperson confirmed to various TV and newspaper outlets in Dallas that SWAT was serving a warrant at an apartment complex in the Oak Lawn area of the city.

Four people, one of whom was later identified as Diggs, were photographed being led in handcuffs from the apartment complex and taken into custody. The warrant was reportedly served without incident, though local residents reported hearing a series of loud booms shortly before 1 p.m.

One of Diggs’ first scenes, which debuted in April 2016, was for NakedSword. Viewers immediately noticed his tattoos (Diggs’ chest, arms and stomach are heavily inked), including Iron Crosses on his chest/shoulder area and SS bolts on his hips. The images, which are classified as hate symbols by the Anti-Defamation League, are often associated with the Nazi regime.

While there was backlash against the performer and the studio, NakedSword initially continued to promote his work and appearances, but later that summer cancelled the release of one of his scenes. As of last September (when Diggs was in a motorcycle crash and had a GoFundMe page set up to help cover costs of his recovery), Diggs was represented by Ducati Models, but there is no listing of him on the site’s model page today.

As more details from Diggs’ Dallas arrest are made available, AVN will report them.
