Disruptive Films Gets Apocalyptic With 'The End'

MONTREAL—Jessica Jasmin helms the newest featurette from gay cinema brand Disruptive Films, the apocalypse-themed "The End."

Nico Coopa and Tony Genius play the pricinpal roles of the piece, about roommates who get word of an emergency nuclear alert and turn to sex as doomsday approaches.

Despite the dark untertones of "The End," its stars report that it was delightful to shoot. "'The End' was such a fun experience," Coopa said. "This was my first time meeting the wildly sexy and talented Tony Genius, who was a pleasure to work with, and even more devastatingly handsome in person. This was also my first time working under the stellar direction of Jessica Jasmin. She truly had a vision here and brought the project to life with her considerable talent. Really delighted to be a part of it.”

Echoed Genius, “This was my first big Disruptive Films scene, and I couldn't be more proud of what we’ve created with such a talented crew and cast. Jessica Jasmin and the whole crew were amazing professionals with an eye for creativity. Nico Coopa was one of the hottest country boys to be spending my last moments with. This is true lovemaking at its finest set in an end-of-the-world thriller!”

For Jasmin's part, she said that directing the scene was a trip back to her roots. “Coming from a film background, I felt like I was getting back to myself through this work," she remarked. "It’s an honor to direct for my brand and to be surrounded by an amazing crew and incredible talent.”
