LOS ANGELES—After delays due to COVID and a change of ownership, gay erotica resource Cybersocket announced Wednesday that the Cybersocket Awards Show is set to return in person this spring.

The 21st Cybersocket Awards will include special appearances, performances and revamped categories, with fan-driven nominations now open.

Presented by Streamate, the awards show's nomination categories this year include Top Cock, Epic Ass, Power Verse of the Year, Movie of the Year and Performer of the Year, along with new additions including Pup of the Year, Go-Go Boy of the Year, Gay Sex Podcast of the Year and more. Cybersocket will be utilizing its new array of multimedia offerings to highlight potential nominees and engage fans through its podcasts, Live Q&A Channel, popular Top 5 column, video porn interviews and social media.

The Cybersocket Awards was created by original Cybersocket owners Morgan Sommer and Tim Lutz in West Hollywood over two decades ago. The event has long been a premier celebration of the personalities and businesses of the gay adult industry with all-star attendance, power player sponsors and plenty of media coverage. Now under the ownership of NSFW.Army, best known for CherryPimps, WildonCam, ViralPorn, Fleshbot and others, the revamped show will pay homage to Cybersocket’s history while adding some flair and advanced tech to the proceedings. In keeping with tradition, the Awards Show will remain in West Hollywood and be presented in the city’s newest and hottest nightclub, Heart, literally in the heart of West Hollywood, on Tuesday, May 24. More details will be announced soon.
