CHATSWORTH, Calif.—AVN Media Network is pleased to announce the first-ever GayVN@Internext Welcome Brunch, sponsored by Flirt4Free. The brunch will feature a keynote address by Jake Jaxson. After the keynote, AVN will host a informal discussion where audience members are invited to discuss their successes and challenges during the past year.
The GayVN@Internext brunch, sponsored by Flirt4Free, will take place Sunday January 17, 2016, from noon to 2 p.m. at Vinyl Nightclub inside Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas.
Jake Jaxson is CEO of CockyBoys, a gay adult entertainment company he runs with longtime partners Benny Morecock and RJ Sebastian. As a director, Jaxson (his nom de porn) produces work that is dedicated to the healthy, creative and erotic exploration of gay sex. His six-hour mini-series Answered Prayers has triumphed in every major gay entertainment award show, including Grabby and Cybersocket honors for Best Movie and Best Director.
In addition, Jaxson has produced and directed numerous award-winning documentaries, TV shows and independent films. His achievements include winning an Emmy for Tribe TV (1997), a television special created as a love letter to his hometown, New Orleans. His life and work have been featured in New York magazine, the Village Voice, OUT, Cosmopolitan, Elle, DNA, Salon, Paper magazine and the Huffington Post. In 2004, he teamed up with Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald to co-create Unclaimed Territory, the blog that launched Greenwald’s career.
