SAN FRANCISCO—Pink and White Productions announced Monday that it has added a collection of productions from indie studio Bangor Films to its streaming platform PinkLabel.tv.
The new lineup of titles have undergone HD restoration and new stereo remastering, and span narrative features like Anonymous (2004) and documentaries like Age of Consent (2013, on the history of the Hoist, London's first and only gay fetish bar) and Sex & the Silver Gays (2016, on octogenarian orgiasts from a N.Y. chapter of a national elder gay men's organization), to compilations like The End of Cruising (2020, with 22 shorts about gay sex and cruising) and Show Hard: Short Films by Charles Lum and Todd Verow (2020, with titles including Blow Job, a reimagining of the Warhol classic, and the politically-geared I Have Mike Pence's Dick in a Pickle Jar. Want to See It?).
Short use. destroy. repeat. offers a lesbian sex scene shot at the infamous gay male cruising site in the Jardin des Tuileries in front of the Louvre in Paris, and was part of the anthology Fucking Different XXX featuring contributions from eight prominent international directors about the "other" sex and their erotic adventures.
Future Bangor re-releases on PinkLabel will include Bottom, Leave Blank and The Endless Possibility of Sky.
Bangor Films was founded in 1995 by Todd Verow and James Derek Dwyer, and has had it productions featured in a number of international film festivals. Verow and Dwyer have lectured at M.I.T. and Sundance, and been profiled by Time, Business Week and CBS' 48 Hours.
