SAN FRANCISCO—Award-winning gay adult site NakedSword, together with well-known director mr. Pam, who's lensed many features for the company, have announced a shift in their long-term working relationship. mr. Pam has been what the company described as "an integral part of the NakedSword team" for the past 20 years, ever since she started with the company as director of the Tim and Roma Show—and now, the director has started her own production company, Wham Bam Pictures, that will be offering directing, photography, videography and all-around production services, with Falcon/NakedSword as the company's first client.
Since 2011, mr. Pam has held the full-time position of Director of Production at NakedSword, spearheading the creation of the NakedSword Originals line along with President Tim Valenti. Over the last nine years, NakedSword Originals has won many awards and produced more than 100 top-selling movies. mr. Pam will no longer be a full-time employee at the company, but will still be producing and directing multiple projects with Falcon/NakedSword.
mr. Pam has led production teams around the world in various exotic locations including Tel Aviv, Prague, Paris, Barcelona, London, Berlin, NYC and most recently the ski slopes of Austria, where she had to evacuate the crew in the middle of the night due to the COVID lockdown back in March.
"Pam is fearless; she is a creative powerhouse that will do whatever it takes to make magic happen and get the perfect shot," Valenti said. "I can’t ever imagine building NakedSword Originals without her. It was the perfect partnership and not only am I proud of what we produced, I will cherish my friendship with her forever."
Falcon/NakedSword already has several projects booked with mr. Pam for the remainder of the year and more on the horizon in 2021.
"I love NakedSword; it's been my life for almost 20 years, and will continue to be a big part of what I do creatively moving forward," said mr. Pam. "Tim Valenti gave me my first real job in gay porn in 2003 after I left my position as Creative Director for CNET/News.com. Since then, we've been on an incredible journey which has created memories that I'll never forget. I couldn't be more proud of the body of work we created together at NakedSword. Tim gave us the ability to explore themes that I feel go well beyond porn and serve as a document of gay history, from the closing of San Francisco's historic Nob Hill Theatre, to gay marriage being legalized, the nudity ban in SF, etc.
"I will always be grateful for the opportunities NakedSword has given me over the years," she continued, "and it's because of those opportunities that I'm able to branch out and do new things. I'm really excited about what the future holds and the projects I have coming up for the rest of the year and beyond."
