AdamMale Marks 20-Year Anniversary

HILLSBOROUGH,, the gay male division of retail giant, is celebrating its 20-year anniversary in December.

Launched as a website in November 1997, AdamMale took off in December of that year when its first marketing offer went out via United States Post.

“We didn’t start with a full catalog at first. We mailed eight-page flyers and the response was overwhelming,” says AdamMale spokesperson Bobby Stone. “At first, we were only mailing names from the Adam & Eve file (our sister company), but we quickly realized there was a huge demand for gay material.”

At the time, gay male products were quite controversial and not readily available for consumers. AdamMale grew rapidly and achieved over $1 million in sales by the end of its first year in operation.

From 2000 to 2006, AdamMale was voted Best Adult Novelty Site in the Cybersocket Web Awards, and boasts numerous awards and nominations in the adult field.

To celebrate 20 years of successful operation, AdamMale will be offering 50 percent off (almost) any item and free shipping in the United States throughout its anniversary month of December. Use code TWENTY at checkout.
