Yes We Are! Entertainment Bows

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Robert Bass, formerly the marketing director for gay distributor Prerogatives LLC, has launched his own marketing firm. He describes Yes We Are! Entertainment as a "creative marketing agency and wholesale distributor for sexy men's brands."

 

The company's first endeavor is distribution and promotion for the Gods of Football Calendar 2009, a naked Australian rugby calendar by Pedro Virgil.

 

Bass said Yes We Are! will focus on just a few brands, all exclusives, and provide intensive marketing support to increase brand awareness and drive consumer demand.

 

"My clients and wholesale customers like the fact that we're not just selling something," he said. "Yes We Are! also helps create ‘brand fans' and retail customers using niche advertising and PR, including custom blogs and ‘fan pages' on social networking sites like DList, Facebook and MySpace."

 

For the Gods of Football calendar launch, Bass said Yes We Are! leveraged the hot images of naked pro rugby players to land magazine covers, news features and coverage by dozens of blogs that reached millions of target customers. Yes We Are! also co-produced the Gods of Football launch party in November at the new CatHouse Ultralounge at Luxor Las Vegas. The results, he said, included record sales for the calendar and dramatically increased awareness of the brand.

According to Bass, Yes We Are! plans to launch the Gods of Football behind-the-scenes DVD in February and has new deals in place for 2009 with teamm8 underwear and swimwear in Australia, Gabriel Croissier swimwear in Barcelona and Esculpta, the Athens-based line of handmade silver jewelry and c-rings for men.
