DÜSSELDORF - Miami-based gay adult studio Flava Works has signed a European distribution contract with XY-Distribution, a division of XY-Studios oHG.
"Our well-known titles here in the U.S. are now represented in Europe by a big and well-known distributor," Flava Works sales manager Jeff Fischer said. "We couldn't be more pleased."
XY-Studios chief executive officer René Bolinski said he believes Flava Works' ethnic titles will do well in Europe.
"Flava Works and their wonderful DVDs with nice-looking black and Latin guys are perfect for our portfolio," he said. "Together with our series Man's-Art, Street Boys and BerlinStarFilm, we can offer our customers now also a black series."
The first Flava Works title scheduled for European distribution is The Original Gangstas of Porn, from the Rockafellaz line. XY-Distribution began shipping the DVD Jan. 16.
