World of Men Goes to Self Distribution

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - Colin O'Neal Productions will begin in-house distribution of its World of Men line, severing its exclusive distribution arrangement with Raging Stallion Studios, O'Neal announced Monday.

"[Raging Stallion President] Chris Ward helped me so much in the past two years," O'Neal said. "His knowledge, kindness and professionalism mean a lot to me.

"When I initially met with Chris about distributing my content on DVDs, he always told me ‘some day you will not need me anymore,' but I always told him it was too big of a project to take on myself," he added. "However, Collin O'Neal Productions has been growing at a tremendous rate, thus allowing us to expand and hire someone to run distribution. Over the past few months I have been talking with retailers throughout the United States and Europe and realized my DVD products are still in high demand in a market in which DVD sales are declining."

Collin O'Neal Productions, established two years ago, is wholly owned by O'Neal and his business partner Rich Richards.

Although previous titles in the World of Men series were released with "Raging Stallion" on the DVD cover, future releases beginning with Miami will not bear the Raging Stallion mark, O'Neal said.

"I was just happy to have my products available on DVD in the beginning, but then I had to ensure I was building my own brand," he said. "Lebanon, thus far, has been my most successful movie, and many people were crediting Raging Stallion. It was like nails on a chalkboard, especially since all of my products are planned and executed by myself and Raging Stallion was only distributing them."

Collin O'Neal Productions will continue to have a very close relationship with Raging Stallion and its staff, O'Neal said.

World of Men's catalog contains eight DVDs shot on location in such exotic spots as London, Lebanon, Sao Paulo, Miami, Spain, Santo Domingo, Edinburgh and East Berlin. East Berlin is the last title that will be distributed by Raging Stallion.

The series has won two GAYVN Awards in the "Best Pro-Amateur Release." Lebanon was awarded a Grabby for "Best Videography."
