CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Hungary-based producer/ director Csaba Borbély's Diamond Pictures and Blue Lagoon brands will now be distributed exclusively in the U.S. by White Tiger Releasing.
Since 2000, Borbély has produced movies for virtually every U.S. studio with an international gay line, notably Falcon, Pacific Sun, IMD, and All Worlds. He has over 100 titles to his credit and has discovered more models than any other producer.
White Tiger Releasing President Lynton Appleson said, "It is the perfect marriage, the high production values of Borbély's films coupled with White Tiger's promise to bring quality entertainment to the gay community by hand-choosing only the top of the line studios for distribution. We are very pleased to have Diamond on board with us."
In a press release from White Tiger announcing the deal, Borbély is quoted as saying, "My movies are made using state of the art techniques and they take place in both real surroundings and fantasy locations. I travel the world to find locations that will intrigue my viewers and I use elements of the film to explore the culture and scenery of our destination countries."
"On each and every film," said White Tiger sales manager Kurt Harold, "Csaba challenges himself to raise his quality standards. He always keeps his customer base in mind to keep them coming back for more."
The first of Borbély's movies to be distributed by White Tiger, Doubling Down, will be released this month. Among other upcoming titles, White Tiger will also distribute Parts 5-7 of Borbély's best-selling Passions of War series.
