Village Lighthouse Subsidiaries Ink Bear Omnimedia Deal

LOS ANGELES - Village Lighthouse Inc. and Bear Omnimedia's Butch Media division have inked an exclusive merchandise licensing agreement under which Village Lighthouse's Big Daddy and Provocateur divisions will publish and distribute Butch Bear -branded books, calendars, greeting cards and other products.

 

Butch Bear is known for producing adult films starring muscular, hairy men. The new merchandise will feature models from some of the studio's most popular titles.

 

"Through its quality and consistency, Butch Bear has become a leader in the adult marketplace for producing content for those who love bear men," said Village Lighthouse president Ron Miller. "Butch Bear knows their customer very well, and the products we create with the impressive photography of Teddy Mark will continue to reflect that dedication to the desires of their core audience."

A book of photography entitled Muscle + Fur is slated for publication by Provocateur in May. The book is a thematic companion to Uncensored (December 2008), which features the work of celebrity photographer Joe Oppedisano.

 

Big Daddy plans to publish a 2010 Butch Bear wall calendar in June. Big Daddy will also publish a complementary line of Butch Bear greeting cards this summer.
