MISSION HILLS, Calif.—After surmounting a recent bit of well-publicized trouble with the law, popular gay-for-pay muscleman and producer-director Robert Van Damme has emerged with a new studio and a new DVD line. Robert Van Damme Presents—in no way affiliated with Van Damme’s former enterprise, RVD Productions—will release its first DVD through Boulevard Distribution later this year.
“Van Damme’s first piece, entitled Dirty Muscle, will be available on video on demand as soon as possible, with a DVD release this fall,” said Boulevard founder and Chief Executive Officer Andy Goode. Directed by Van Damme and Gino Colbert, the film “is a celebration of everything male. It is truly one of the most important gay adult videos of the new millennium.”
The high-budget production includes a cast of nine high-power muscle studs: Van Damme, Mathew Rush, Tyler Saint, Josh Griffin, Skye Woods and Rob Romoni. According to Goode, all of the action takes place in an auto mechanic’s shop. One of the standout scenes is a gangbang featuring Grabby Award winner Paul Stag.
“I’m certainly glad I didn’t bring my car in on that day,” Goode quipped.
Knightbreeders, too, has been busy lately. The underground bareback studio has two new DVDs ready for release: Full Moon Spunk Catchers and The Best of Damien Silver.
“Silver, who stars in many of the Knightbreeders productions, is a quiet giant in the world of bareback,” Goode said. “Under the skilled direction director Justin Credible, he shines. According to Goode, Knightbreeders’ productions often utilize masks, cum rag skull bandanas, pentagon bracelets and other dark symbolism to invoke ritualistic themes the studio’s fans love.
