TORONTO - Untangled Web, operator of the gay porn portal BananaGuide.com, has launched a new website that gathers gay website reviews from 10 major sources.
On a single page at RoostersRoundup.com, surfers will find quotes and scores from several reviewers and can click through to read the full text in its original habitat. The site is to the adult industry what sites like RottenTomatoes.com and MetaCritic.com are to the mainstream, an Untangled Web spokesman said.
A straightforward interface allows users to browse by 20 categories and to sort by score, review date or site name. Basic information about each reviewed site, such as the type and volume of content, is provided, along with an average score."Rooster's Roundup is the next step in the evolution of adult site reviews," said Untangled Web president Trevor Hennig. "There are so many review sites online today that a tool that makes it easier for surfers to understand the range of critical opinion on a pay site is timely."
Rooster's Roundup incorporates reviews found on BananaGuide, Gay Demon, Just Us Boys, Gay Geek, Ben's Gay Reviews, Gay Porn Pig, Cockanova, The Best Porn, Rabbit's Reviews and Porn Inspector.
