Tony Dimarco Becomes a Raging Stallion

SAN FRANCISCO — Tony Dimarco has joined the Raging Stallion staff as a full-time director. His first projects for the company already are in the works, according to a Raging Stallion spokesman.

Dimarco has received numerous GAYVN Awards for his work. Of the 14 awards presented in 2007 to Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita, a Lucas Entertainment film Dimarco directed with Michael Lucas, six bore Dimarco's name. In 2008, the Dimarco-helmed erotic comedy The Intern, also for Lucas Entertainment, received the GAYVN Award for Best Sex Comedy.

Born and raised in the tri-state area of the northeast, Dimarco graduated from New York's School of Visual Art with a BFA in graphic design and served for 13 years as a successful art director at a major record label before joining the gay adult industry.

Dimarco plans to relocate from the New York area to San Francisco. He said he views the move as the beginning of a new chapter in his career.

"I'm very excited to join Raging Stallion Studios," he said. "I've been a great admirer of their work for many years and am very excited about the prospect of working as one [of their directors]. They are at the top of their game, and I'm at the top of mine. I think this is the beginning of an exceptional team. The quality of their filmmaking is top-notch, and I'm honored to be a part of the team."

Raging Stallion president Chris Ward was enthusiastic as well.

"Tony is a great guy and a very talented filmmaker," Ward said. "I was very excited when Tony became available. It is rather rare in our small industry when both a position and a person capable of filling it are concurrently open. The recent retirement of Michael Brandon left vacant a top-level job at a top-tier studio ... who better than Tony Dimarco to step in?

"We have huge plans ahead as we build upon our past successes," he continued. "Right now Tony, Ben Leon and I are developing a GRUNTS-scale cowboy movie that will be shot in New Mexico this summer. All I can say is, everybody better watch out! With Tony joining Ben Leon, JD Slater, David Hempling, Jake Deckard and yours truly, we have the best directing team in the industry."

GRUNTS is the multiple-award-winning, six-disc military epic Raging Stallion released in November.
