Todd Montgomery Leaves Falcon; Reps Say it 'Will Not Affect' Company

SAN FRANCISCO – Todd Montgomery’s abrupt Thursday departure as president and chief executive officer of Falcon Entertainment may have surprised the gay adult entertainment industry, but consumers and business associates will notice no change in day-to-day operations, company representatives said Friday.

“We will be moving forward with a very positive outlook and plan on staying focused and passionate about the work we are all doing,” director of promotion, model development and recruiting Troy Prickett told GAYVN.com. “We are all well equipped with survival instincts here and have shifted into ‘a new day — a new beginning’ mode. Falcon will flourish thanks to an incredibly dedicated, driven and passionate team of individuals who, after five years of working together, all have one goal in mind: success.

“Todd Montgomery’s departure will not affect the daily operations or long-term production schedule of Falcon Studios,” he added.

Prickett also said the staff is a “very, very able” group, and because of that, the company is not in a hurry to replace Montgomery.

“Falcon Studios is evaluating the need for a new president and will make a decision in the near future,” he said. “Steve Johnson [a partner in Falcon parent company 3 Media Corporation] is thinking about it, but he’s not in any big rush.”

Montgomery began his tenure with Falcon as vice president and chief operating officer in late 2003, when Falcon was part of Conwest Resources, owned at that time by the Charles M. Holmes Foundation. In 2004, he and partners Terry Mahaffey and Johnson formed 3 Media and purchased Conwest Resources from the foundation. When Mahaffey died of cancer in October 2005, Montgomery ascended to his position at Falcon’s helm.

Montgomery has not been available to comment.
