SAN FRANCISCO—Titan Media, parent company of gay adult brands TitanMen, ManPlay, MSR Video and TitanMen Fresh, has signed Italian performer Dario Beck to a multi-year exclusive contract. Beck will make his debut in the upcoming Brian Mills-directed film Distraction.
Standing 6’2” with a muscular physique, 25-year-old Beck epitomizes the archetypal tall, dark and handsome Hollywood leading man. Having spent years in front of the camera as both a fashion and runway model and as a television actor in Europe, Beck said he is very comfortable performing. Raised in Italy and Germany, he now resides in Barcelona, where he can be seen on numerous billboards and in magazine layouts, as well as on several television programs.
Mills said Beck’s striking Latin looks embody everything he found erotic as a youth.
“I grew up in the Midwest, where almost everyone was fair-skinned and blond with light-colored eyes,” Mills said. “I always dreamt of dark-haired, dark-eyed men with chiseled bodies and tan skin. Dario epitomizes everything I ever fantasized about men.”
Distraction is expected to be released in mid-February. In the film, Beck appears with fellow TitanMen exclusives Dean Flynn and Marco Blaze. Beck also has been cast in the next Mills project, Heatstroke. In addition, he is set to star in an as-yet-unnamed European feature film to be released under the TitanMen Fresh brand later this spring, a studio source revealed.
“I’m really excited about becoming a TitanMen exclusive,” Beck said. “Shooting with Brian Mills and the TitanMen team has been a great experience. I always loved TitanMen movies, and being part of such a great team is awesome.
“I’m a TitanMen exclusive,” he repeated. “I mean, how lucky can one guy be? I’m looking forward to future projects with TitanMen, and I think 2010 will be a very hot year.”
