The Miscreant Wears Prada

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.—A male high-fashion model who has worked for several top designers will head for an Arkansas courtroom immediately after he leaves the catwalks during New York’s Fashion Week.

Nick Snider, 21, is scheduled to stand trial Feb. 17 on misdemeanor charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct and attempting to influence a public servant. He landed all three charges Monday, after offering blowjobs to Batesville, Ark., sheriff’s deputies if they would release him from the first two counts.

According to arrest reports, Snider was busted after causing a disturbance at a female friend’s home. Evidently drunk, he first attempted to avoid arrest by telling Independence County Sheriff’s Department officers “I am a very famous model.”

Unimpressed, the officers loaded Snider into a patrol car, whereupon he “kept trying to get me to stop the car and let him go,” Deputy Brian Luetschwager wrote in his report. “Mr. Snider stated to me, ‘If you stop, I’ll suck your dick and balls if you let me go.’”

Luetschwager declined the offer, but Snider persisted, “also harass[ing] the jailer with similar sexual comments,” the arrest report notes. The jailer wasn’t interested, either.

Snider pleaded not guilty to all three charges and left jail Wednesday under a $780 bond.

In 2008, Forbes named Snider the fifth most successful model in the world. He appeared in January’s Yves Saint Laurent fashion show in Paris and is scheduled to strut runways for several designers during New York’s Fashion Week, which begins Feb. 11. The Manhattan resident is best known as a former face of Prada.

It’s probably only a matter of time before a gay porn studio makes him an offer.
