Chris Ward, president and co-founder of Raging Stallion Studios, announced today that he has signed Tag Adams to an exclusive contract. Adams was named 2004 Performer of the Year by GAYVN. In addition to performing in several films, the agreement also calls for Adams to direct feature films for the studio.
"Tag has always been a Raging Stallion favorite, and his performance in Pokin' in the Boys Room for our Monster Bang line made that movie a best seller," said Ward in a press release. "He is easy to work with and I think he has what it takes to move to an even higher profile level in the industry."
Acknowledging Adams' long-term relationship with Chi Chi LaRue, Ward made a provision in the contract that allows Adams to appear in selected projects for Channel 1 Releasing.
In a statement included in the press release Adams said, "As I venture into my fourth year in this business, I am very proud to not only be recognized for my sexual talents, but for my production skills as well… Finally, you will be able to truly see what is in this head of mine!"
Adams will continue to make personal appearances through Raging Stallion and other promoters and a new Raging Stallion-created website, TagAdams.com, will feature live shows each week.
"I feel that the guys behind Raging Stallion will be a great fit for me," Adams said. "We all seem to have the same thought process. Chris Ward is a great director who is not afraid to break out of the typical 'recipe' of porn, as well as a very good friend to me. I want to thank everyone at Raging Stallion: Chris Ward, Michael Brandon, J.D. Slater, and Kent Taylor for seeing this and believing in me."
