MADRID—During its first 15 months in existence, gay adult studio Stag Homme LLC released a best-selling DVD, launched a website, signed three exclusive performers, produced a popular gay-porn reality series and shot several short features specifically for online distribution.
Founders and real-life couple Damien Crosse and Francesco D’Macho are pretty darn proud of themselves for what they have accomplished, but they said they haven’t forgotten the fans who made them successful.
“We at Stag Homme have strived this year to make a home for extraordinary porn that is both cutting edge and beautiful,” the couple wrote in an email. “We can look back upon this year with great satisfaction and pride in reaching our goal. We are also tremendously grateful to the Stag Homme community. Thank you for all your support and feedback that you have given us throughout 2009.”
After launching their exclusive-content website in early October 2008, Crosse and D’Macho set out to conquer the DVD world. During the third quarter of 2009 they released Stag Fight through Raging Stallion, and the title went on to become one of the best-selling DVDs in Raging Stallion’s online store.
The guys plan to release a sequel, Stag Reel, Jan. 29, 2010. A sneak peek at the new title is available at StagHomme.com, as part of the studio’s gay-porn reality series, Stag TV. Spanish photographer Alvaro Villarrubia lensed a special segment about the making of the DVD, and D’Macho and Crosse incorporated the material into “Stag TV: Season Two—the Finale.” That episode also included appearances by Wilfried Knight, Max Schutler, Scott Tanner, Tony Aziz, Jean Franko and Lucio Saints, in addition to Stag Homme exclusives Tomy Hawk, Bruno Fernandez Gutierrez and Biktor Vossou.
“Stag TV gives you a comic-yet-sexy view of the porn world which you won’t find anywhere else,” Crosse said.
The second-season finale also takes viewers behind the scenes of Raging Stallion Studios’ sequel to Arabesque and two of Stag Homme’s online features, Skyscrapers and Spycam 2.
In December, Stag Homme introduced muscular Hungarian newcomer Rob Nelson to fans in the intimate, unscripted Eros, which headliner D’Macho described as “a sensual, versatile fuck galore.”
“Eros focuses on a higher form of sex,” he said. “It’s about everything that is beautiful and poetic about sex. This XXX feature is over half an hour of intense and passionate lovemaking between the two lovers.”
On Tuesday, Stag Homme introduced a new feature shot in Miami, Orlando vs. Matthew. In the short flick, Matthew Rush and Spanish gay-porn favorite Orlando Toro settle their differences in aggressive carnal ways.
In 2010, Crosse and D’Macho plan to take the studio in new directions they see as “envelope shredding,” though they have not yet revealed details. However, they promised their content will not lose its edge. In fact, they look forward to creating more of the “daring guerrilla footage” and “creative fantasy content” they consider Stag Homme’s stock in trade.
“Even though we are happy with where the studio has come to, we can assure you that this is merely the beginning,” the pair wrote in an email. “There are still plenty of envelopes to shred, and we wouldn’t dream of giving up the task to anyone else.”
