Sportsheets Names Pete Ross New Manline Model

Sportsheets has tapped Pete Ross, a gay XXX-performer known for his wholesome smile, stunning eyes, and great ass, to be its new model for Manline, the adult novelty maker’s gay product line.

Ross’ photo shoot for Sportsheets took place earlier this month and he will begin appearing on the packaging of some Manline products in July when Sportsheets introduces its new catalogs and products at the AVN Adult Novelty Expo.

Todd Carter, Sportsheets’ director of sales, is thrilled to be working with Ross. “Pete exudes a youthful exuberance that fans find contagious. He loves what he does and he loves his fans and they return that love,” Carter said. “Having such a popular performer modeling for Manline can only boost our sales. ”

Ross began his adult career in late 2004 and was quickly recognized as a standout performer. He achieved the rare honor of being simultaneously nominated as both Best Newcomer and Performer of the Year at this year’s GAYVN Awards. He received a third GAYVN nomination in the Best Threesome category, and was also nominated for a Grabby Performer of the Year award.

Carter believes that even more important than Ross’ popularity is his chameleon-like range of poses and attitudes capable of adding an extra dimension to the new Manline catalog. “Manline appeals to a diverse range of gay consumers that includes everyone from ‘all-American boys’ to ‘nasty pigs’ — and Pete has an extremely versatile look that allows him to project both ends of that range and everything in between.”

Ross was first introduced to Sportsheets at the 2006 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in January, where they were giving a demonstration of the Sportsheet, a restraint device that allows couples without bedposts to explore bondage. “Pete had never seen the Sportsheet before, but he demonstrated a clear understanding of what it could do for your sex life. He immediately started suggesting some innovative new uses and we knew that we had found the right guy,” Carter said.
