Titan exclusive Spencer Quest is conducting a monthly art auction of his own paintings to benefit a variety of charities. The auctions are being run through eBay.
Highest bidders will be able to choose either an original art work by Quest or a personal watercolor pet portrait based on a photo.
Quest says that while he is donating his time, he benefits as well: “It takes me about sixteen-to-twenty hours to do a successful pet portrait. I’m doing this partially to encourage some discipline for myself. I need deadlines. I work best under pressure. So to have to do a painting a month for the next year is good for me.”
Samples of Quest's work can be seen at SpencerQuest.com/anotherside.
April's auction benefited Loren McLeod’s SuperiorMutts Doggie Rescue, Inc., an Orlando, Florida-area dog and cat rescue that encourages pet adoption over breeding.
The May auction proceeds will go to the New York City Men's Chorus. June will benefit AnimalsAsia.org.
Information on future auctions will be available at SpencerQuest.com.
