GAYVN Hall of Fame'er JD Slater has issued a new apology to director/ studio chief Michael Lucas over an ice-throwing incident at the GAYVN Awards on March 8.
The apology was sent by email to a wide list of gay XXX-industry recipients on March 21. The new apology followed a March 15 open letter to the industry, also published on GAYVN.com, in which Slater addressed the incident.
In the March 21 email, Slater stated, "Dear Michael — Please accept my apology for my uncalled for behavior with the ice at this year's GAYVNs. You told a joke that, sadly, I did not get and I reacted in a very childish manner. It was wrong and I want to thank you for being such a gentleman about the entire incident. Once again my most heartfelt mea culpa. — JD Slater"
