WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Ridgeline Films has signed Damian Rios as its first exclusive star.
Rios stars in Ridgeline's soon-to-be-released Beyond Malibu and Jason Ridge's forthcoming directorial debut, Up Country.
The versatile performer, who recently graced the cover of Odyssey magazine, has bottomed in the three scenes he's shot for the company so far, Ridge said, adding that Rios' flip-flop with Braxton Bond in Beyond Malibu is especially memorable.
Born in Dallas, Rios was raised in Florida and currently resides in Key West, although he's contemplating a move to Los Angeles next year. Having always been fascinated with sex and sexuality, Rios began work as a go-go boy and stripper in 1999, when he first met industry impresario Chi Chi LaRue. His interest was sparked, but he didn't decide to dive into the deep end of the pool until this year.
"I decided I didn't want to let it go by without me saying I at least did it," Rios said. "Right now I am just enjoying it for what it is.
"I never thought, when I did my first shoot in Los Angeles, that I would ever be signed as an exclusive to a company, but Ridgeline has treated me like gold on every set - better than any other company," he continued. "I knew right away they were the company I wanted to shoot for all the time, so I can't believe it's actually happened."
According to Ridge, "I had to be very careful about who I choose as my first exclusive, because he will be a reflection and representation of Ridgeline Films. Damian embodies what I look for in a performer: He's versatile, he's energetic, he's photogenic and he's a dream to work with. We're very lucky to have him as part of our family."
