Raging Stallion Releases Chris Ward's 100th Movie

In a February 24 press release, Raging Stallion Studios annnounced the release of Manifesto, company president and director Chris Ward's 100th XXX feature.

The two-disc, four-hour movie was co-directed by Ward and videographer Ben Leon. The music is by studio co-founder and GAYVN Hall of Fame'er JD Slater.

Leon, Raging Stallion's videographer for the past two years, was thrilled at the chance to direct with his boss. "I was honored and thrilled when Chris sat me down and proposed directing a movie together. Over the past three years [studio partners] Chris Ward, Michael Brandon, and JD Slater have taught me everything I know about making high quality porn. On top of that, this is Chris' hundredth film so the honor is even greater."

All of the studio's top stars make appearances, including Raging Stallion Man of the Year Remy Delaine, François Sagat, and Huessein. A welcome surprise is the industry return of longtime RSS exclusive Michael Vincenzo. "His performance with Sarib is a stunning reminder of his amazing porn charisma," Ward said.

Also in the cast are new exclusive Justin Christopher, Jay Black, Michael Foxx, Fred Faurtin, Derrick Hanson, and Tamas Eszterhazy.

Ward began as a contract model and director for Hot House Entertainment "where I learned the craft of top-quality filmmaking." Before founding his own studio, Ward directed for Falcon, Zeus, and Can-Am.

In 1999 he joined with JD Slater to launch Raging Stallion Studios, which in seven years has become one of the top-ranked companies in the gay adult industry.

Ward cites Raiders of the Lost Arse, The Sexus Trilogy, A Porn Star Is Born, Passport to Paradise, and Arabesque as among the high points of his films. Arabesque has received multiple GAYVN Awards nominations (Best Picture, Director, Editing, Music, Sex Scene, Packaging, and Art Direction) and has become Raging Stallion's top seller of all time in the three months of its release.

When asked about the most significant moments in his career, Ward commented on the valuable relationships he developed with his studio partners: "Several talented people came into my life and made Raging Stallion possible — JD Slater, of course, who tricked me into starting the company, Kent Taylor who really runs the whole show in addition to being the head photographer, and Michael Brandon who brought not only his wonderful personality, but who also helped focus our product on the art of fucking! And after all, fucking is what our business is all about!"

The two other partners in the studio — Marty Rosenthal and Maurice Duran — head up the sales division. Duran is Ward's life-partner as well.
