Raging Stallion Plans Marketing Push for New Release Mirage

Raging Stallion Studios has just released Mirage, director Chris Ward's follow up to the company's 2006 hit, Arabesque.

Mirage, available at this time to retail customers only, stars Jake Deckard and Steve Cruz, and, with six hours of sex filmed on locations across the western United States and Hawaii, is reported to be the biggest project Raging Stallion has yet produced.

Director Ward described the movie's plot as "one of adventure and intrigue, tracing the travails of two American archaeologists who run afoul of a band of Arabian fighters. Guns, treasure, airplanes, tombs, and deserts are all featured in this blockbuster movie.

"We spared no expense on production," noted Ward. "We wanted to show the porn world exactly what a top-quality studio can produce! For me, Mirage is a high point of my career. The shoot, the men, the edit — everything — came together like clockwork. It was a joy to film and I hope it will be a joy to watch!"

In addition to Deckard and Cruz, Mirage stars Raging Stallion exclusives Dirk Jager, Huessein, Marc LaSalle, Rambo, Matthieu Paris, Justin Christopher, Collin O'Neal, and Tamas Eszterhazy. Guest appearances are made by Tommy Blade, Dominic Pacifico, and Max Schutler.

The movie takes up two discs, the first, Ward said, "being mainly shot on sets and indoors, while the second disc features amazing desert footage and scenes shot in dramatic outdoor settings." An additional hour-long special feature showcases the making of Mirage

"A huge marketing campaign is now starting for this major release," said Ward. Plans include a special Raging Stallion-published magazine, posters, a dedicated issue of Honcho, a national ad campaign in all major gay publications, a website (MirageTheMovie.com), a TLA special release, and major features at NakedSword.com.

Mirage is currently available for retail sales at RagingStallion.com, TLAvideo.com, and GayDVD.com.

The movie goes into wholesale release in the U.S. and Europe on June 1.
