SAN FRANCISCO – For the first time, two men have been named Raging Stallion’s Man of the Year. At a party Saturday, September 29, the company’s president, Chris Ward, named both Roman Ragazzi and Steve Cruz Men of the Year. One of Raging Stallion’s co-founders, JD Slater, gave Tober Brandt Centurion Pictures’ “Bigger Than Life” award.
The event was hosted by Michael Brandon and Jake Deckard, while Chi Chi LaRue spun tunes. Many behind-the-scenes people from other studios, distribution companies, and even reps from stores and websites joined almost a hundred porn stars at the fete.
Jack Ryan was announced as the studio’s newest exclusive, while other recent additions to the Stallion stable Luke Hass, RJ Danvers, Antonio Biaggi, and Victor Steele — all part of “Grunts,” which is being touted as the largest porn production ever — were presented to the public at large for the first time.
Collin O’Neal discovery Ragazzi debuted for Raging Stallion earlier this year in “Tailpipes,” went on to appear in “Playback,” and is part of the “Grunts” ensemble. Ward said, “Roman represents the epitome of male beauty and structure. He is at the apex of our species — a fine example of a proud, sex-positive gay man. He is a worthy successor to Jake Deckard.”
Cruz debuted in “Lords of the Jungle,” followed that up with “Mirage,” and is one of the leads in “Grunts.” “Steve is a native of the SF Bay Area,” Ward said. “He is the perfect slut pig porn star — a real energy that reminds me of a nasty Tag Adams. And that chest and face! He is another contender for the best-looking man alive!”
Slater, the head of Centurion Pictures, said of Brandt as the choice for this year’s “Bigger Than Life” award, “Some stars are made and others, like Tober, are born! He is one of the new archetypes of sexual exploration. We are thrilled to be able to work with him.”
The Raging Stallion Man of the Year party is an annual event. It is in its seventh year and is the biggest annual U.S. porn-related party.
