HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Brothers Darron and Tahl Price, creators of Priceless Films, the first studio to concentrate solely on adult movies created in 3D animation, have completed their first release, Penetration Penitentiary, which is due out in early November.
This first ever gay CG-animated title took nearly a year to develop from conception to completion.
“We wanted to do something different for our first release. We decided upon the gay market and to create something special that no one has done before. Penetration Penitentiary is essentially an adult comic book come to life” said Darron Price.
The brothers coined the term "computer generated performer" (CGP) to define their "go anywhere, do anything" 3D adult stars.
“It’s amazing how realistic our CGP figures look and move. Doing the whole film in CG allows us to create whatever we want. We are only limited by our own imaginations,” said Tahl Price.
The company's unique concept has sparked interest from the mainstream entertainment industry. In a company profile, Variety magazine reported that the Prices began as an architectural consulting firm that designed 3D models of houses and commercial buildings. As their skills grew, they decided to adapt them to animated films.
It was at the 2005 AEE show in Las Vegas that the brothers' ideas for adult CG films met with instant interest. "What a lot of people do not realize is that the adult industry is another form of independent filmmaking. It allows us to create anything we want," they state in the Variety article.
Priceless also has a straight CG animated movie scheduled for release at the end of the year. The company plans to produce six new titles in 2007.
