Porno Bingo to Host Noted Entertainer, Author

NEW YORK - A special Will Clark's Porno Bingo celebrating the impending end of the George W. Bush administration will take place from 8-10 p.m. Jan. 14 at Pieces. Singer-actor Chris Dilley and therapist-author Damon L. Jacobs will appear.

Dilley spent nine years performing worldwide as Trampolina with The Kinsey Sicks, a Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet. In addition to writing many of the group's vocal arrangements and recording five CDs before he departed, Dilley starred in two films about The Kinsey Sicks: I Wanna Be a Republican and Almost Infamous. Since then he has mounted a one-man show, performed many Broadway concerts, and appeared as Adam in Adam and the Experts, Claude in Hair and Rooster in Annie.

Jacobs, author of the self-help book Absolutely Should-less, is a licensed marriage and family therapist. His ideas combine his passion for psychological principles, progressive social theories, spiritual perspectives and media critiques. Jacobs contributes commentaries to Marlena De Lacroix's website as "The Soap Shrink" and works as a therapist in a substance-abuse clinic in East Harlem.

Porno Bingo is sponsored by NEXT magazine. The Jan. 14 event will benefit the Metropolitan Tennis Group, a not-for-profit organization that provides expanded opportunities to play recreational and competitive tennis in addition to serving as an alternative social forum for lesbians and gay men.

Prizes from Manhunt, Badpuppy, ID Lube, Dance 208 and several porn studios will be given away.
