Video/ DVD giant Pleasure Productions has acquired nine titles from Ebony Vid International, the all-black-cast, gay video line from San Francisco directed by Alex King.
The nine titles being transferred to DVD for the first time are Big Black Jack, Black Harness, Made in the Shade, A Tail of Five Brothers, Black Hole, Black Samuel, Boyz on da Hood, Black Campus, and an interracial title, Casting at the Campus Meat Market, directed by Brad Phillips.
Among the performers featured in the Ebony Vid line are such popular names as Sire, Ty Lattimore, Chris Banks, Onyx, T-Spoon, Dante Franklin, Big Boy Red, and Ricky Love.
Two of the titles, Black Harness and Big Black Jack, have already been released. A third, Made in the Shade, ships June 29. The remaining titles will be released on a schedule to be determined by Pleasure Productions.
According to Joel Weiner, Marketing Director for Pleasure Productions, all titles are being newly released with Pleasure's usual complement of DVD features that include "Pop-Shot on Demand," "Pick Your Pleasure" (special menus that jump right to specific sex-action), and Photo Galleries. All discs are playable worldwide on computers and DVD players.
