Party Animals to be Released at GAYVN Summit

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - The second annual GAYVN Summit is about to kick into high gear, starting this Thursday, February 14 and running through Saturday, February 16. Held again at San Francisco's W Hotel, the GAYVN Summit mixes business with pleasure, seminars with cocktails.

This year's welcome reception is hosted by CCBill and will be held Thursday night from 7-9 p.m. "It's the perfect time to catch up on the latest buzz from studio execs, performers and the who's who of the industry," said Harker Jones, editor of GAYVN magazine. "We love our Summit sponsors and are appreciative of their ongoing support."

In addition, a special reception sponsored by Falcon Personals will be held on Friday from 5-7 p.m., which gives conference attendees the opportunity to get further acquainted.

If GAYVN Summit attendees wish to party on, they can also buy tickets to the 10th Annual GAYVN Awards Show held on Saturday night at the San Francisco Giftcenter. Industry admission is only $50 and can be purchased by contacting Beth Noonan at 818.718.5788 or [email protected]. Promising to bring more accolades and laughs than ever before, Lady Bunny, America's favorite drag queen, and Derek and Romaine, Sirius OutQ Channel personalities, are co-hosting the show. Red carpet festivities begin at 6 p.m. and curtain goes up at 7 p.m.

"The party never ends," said Chi Chi LaRue, who is moderating the Summit's Industry Speak Seminar and making a special appearance at the Awards Show. "There's always something going on, which is why the Summit is a must-attend event. I love the hype and the energy. The people at AVN Media Network know the market and have tailored an event that really caters to us."
