Pacific Sun Launches Blog, Social Networking Efforts

NORTH HILLS, Calif.—Like it or not, social networking is an important component of modern marketing. With that in mind, Pacific Sun Entertainment has launched several initiatives to help its customers and consumers stay informed about the company’s activities via Twitter, blogging and mobile applications.

PSE’s new blog, “Blah, Blah, Blog,” is penned by Orpheus, who also guest-blogs at PornNewz.com. The blog offers model galleries and links to trailers from the latest releases, as well as DVD reviews, company and industry news and “other fun stuff.”

“Having our own blog allows us to post DVD reviews and news almost as soon as they happen,” Orpheus noted.

For those who find blog-reading too time-consuming, Pac Sun offers other options.

“Perhaps people rather prefer micro-blogging,” Orpheus said. “In that case, we’ve got that too. Tweet us or Facebook us, and we’ll get the content to you. We’re here to get you guys off.”

Fans on the go can keep up, as well, because PSE offers a version of its sites designed for mobile consumption. In addition, the company is developing several Android-based mobile applications.

“It’s a market that’s dying for content, and we’re going to give it to them,” said PSE Chief Executive Officer Pritam Sinha. “We are making great strides to give more to customers and to other porn businesses. We’ll be offering feeds soon, as well as mobile content that will be available on our sites and in the sites that we license out to, as well.

“Everything is being done humanly possible to take [the Pacific Sun] name to places it hasn’t gone before, and then some,” Sinha said. “And we are making that a reality.”
