Twink company PZP Productions, producer of GAYVN-nominated hits The Da Vinci Load and BeTwinked — and the current DaVinci Load 2: Electric Twinkaloo, will be taking on the classics next, according to PZP's Peter Z.
Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist will get the twink treatment next with Oliver Twink, which will film this summer for a Thanksgiving 2007 release.
The movie has not yet been cast. "But," Peter Z said, "a deal is in the works for the super-twink of all twinks to play the title role."
PZP Productions will do its own independent casting for key roles and will work exclusively with Howard Andrew's FabScout.com agency to round out the casting.
To allay 2257 concerns about the Dickens character's pre-teen status, Peter Z said, "For the record, our story begins on Oliver's eighteenth birthday."
Harry Beastt, the bumbling Nazi in DaVinci Load 2, will also have a non-sexual role in Oliver Twink, promising the no-holds-barred, irreverent, campy sex comedy that PZP is making its trademark.
Peter Z also announced that Florida businessman Ricardo Martinez will join the PZP family as executive producer and investor.
Remarking on PZP's heretofore inconsistent production values, Peter Z said, "We do the best we can with garbled sound, bad lighting, and no budget! But," he added mischievously, "that is all going to change. Martinez assured us that Oliver Twink will have a modest budget."
The modern-day adaptation of the 1838 novel will be shot on location in South Beach, Florida.
