PZP Stars Jarett Fox in BeTwinked

PZP Productions, the fledgling company behind the just-released The DaVinci Load, has announced plans to star popular twink performer Jarett Fox in BeTwinked, a takeoff of the 1960s television sitcom, Bewitched.

BeTwinked will film in late July and hit the streets on Halloween Day.

Fox has been cast in the "Darrin Stephens" role. Zaragoza is still searching for "a mischievous blond twink" for the "Samantha Stephens" role, Samuel.

PZP producer/ director Peter Zaragoza said, “We are thrilled that Jarett will have the time to do this movie for us, with his very busy schedule. Also, it’s great that he is a brunet now and that he has straightened his hair, because I definitely wanted a dark-haired twink to play Derrick Stanley, the Darrin Stephens part.

"Bewitched was a phenomenon in gay culture," Zaragoza continued, "I grew up watching the show and still watch it on TV Land to this day. There was something about those bigger-than-life outcasts that gays identified with — from the wicked Endora, played by Agnes Moorehead, to the flamboyant Uncle Arthur, played by Paul Lynde. Paul Lynde was really the first gay character on television, when it comes right down to it. That’s why we are lovingly dedicating the movie to his memory — for having the balls to be himself in a time when it was more convenient to butch it up.”

BeTwinked, distributed by Marina Pacific, will be released on October 31, 2006.
