On the Set of 'The Crave, Vol. 3'

To shoot most of the scenes for The Crave Vol. 3, we returned to the town in the countryside where we had recorded the first part of the Crave trilogy, as it proved really suitable for a film with this kind of theme.

This town was 190 miles away from Budapest, the capital of Hungary, and the primary location we used was a huge disco with many levels that had been built in the old times of communism and had been closed a long time ago and it had been uninhabited for years.

In fact, the disco and the hotel where we lived actually belong together - the buildings are one huge unit. The cast and crew lived in small rooms for 203 people in the hotel during the shooting. We were like a big family and a porn reality show at the same time. The small group had breakfast and dinner together, and the technical crew knew each other already because I always work with the same people (cameramen, technician, photographer, make-up guy, assistants). On the other hand, most of the models hadn't meet before and there were some guys from abroad too. Men came from Germany, Romania, the Czech Republic and, of course, from different parts of Hungary.

Some parts of the project - for example the Mangiatti twins' scene - took place 150 miles away from the previous location. It was chosen because I know a very pleasant, small, old Hungarian-style mansion there in the countryside. We weren't disturbed at all because the mansion is in a really peaceful corner of the world as it is located at least 10 miles from any other house.

I like to work in places where I'm able to keep thinking about the movies but far from the rush of the real world. We were like a group of camping schoolboys there for a couple of days. We hired a cook, so we had not only sexual but gastronomical joys as well. By the way, it was a little bit difficult to shoot with the Mangiatti twins because they're so similar that I wasn't able to tell them apart while they were filming, so sometimes my instructions led to funny results that can't remain in a professional movie.

It took approximately 3-4 hours to film each scene. We have to rearrange the furniture sometimes for a different position, but then we have to reset the lights, the camera, etc. So the models have free time during a scene too and everybody tries to busy himself in these pauses. I remember there was a funny moment when I spotted one of my assistants playing chess with a model who was naked and had a hard-on at the same time. When I asked them who was leading, the model turned to me for a moment and while doing so he tipped over the rook with his hard cock. It's not simple to maneuver with such big ones...
