MONTREAL—Next Door Entertainment has announced the launch of a fundraising campaign to support the charitable organization, Until There’s A Cure. To coincide with the kick-off of the campaign an initial donation of ten thousand dollars has been made to the foundation.
“Our first fund raiser, a celebrity auction where attendees at this year’s Phoenix Forum bid on the underwear and swimsuits of adult models, resulted in five thousand dollars of donations,” said Stephan Sirard, president of Next Door Entertainment. “In addition, Next Door Entertainment has matched that amount, bringing the total amount raised to ten thousand dollars.
“We are so grateful to all of those who turned out at this first fund raiser and for their generous donations,” Sirard went on to say. “We were all overwhelmed by the response and the funds raised. Until There’s A Cure is a very worthwhile cause and we are very pleased to be able to support the great work that they are doing.”
Until There's A Cure is a national organization dedicated to eradicating HIV/AIDS by raising awareness and funds to combat the pandemic. The foundation’s dream is that no one else will become infected with HIV. For those who are HIV positive, they are dedicated on their behalf to educating all people about the virus and the overwhelming need for love and compassion in fighting this pandemic.
The recent charity auction event, Friday Night Heat, held at the Phoenix Forum, featured adult models from Next Door Studios and Hot House Entertainment modeling underwear and swimsuits donated by gay adult retailer, Priape.
