Mr. Gay U.K. Accused of Bizarre ‘Dahmercide'

LONDON - In the words of the immortal Monty Python, "And now for something completely different."

The first man to be named Mr. Gay U.K. has been arrested and charged with the murder of an acquaintance. According to authorities, Anthony Morley, 35, stands accused of stabbing to death advertising executive Damian Oldfield, 33.

And those details aren't even the salacious bits. According to authorities, Morley was preparing to go all Jeffrey Dahmer on the corpse when he was apprehended.

The bizarre "Dahmercide" was discovered after a man dressed in a white nightgown and covered with blood walked into a shop near Morley's rented house in Harehills, Leeds, and told the staff, "I am the murderer, call the police," according to The Sun. A chunk missing from the corpse's right leg was discovered on the kitchen counter, the paper reported.

A police source told The Sun the human flesh had been diced, and "it appears it was being prepared for cooking."

Morley was crowned Mr. Gay U.K. in 1993 at the age of 20. Officials said he and the victim, who worked for the gay magazine Bent, were acquainted but were not thought to be lovers.
