MonsterHuge Launches MonsterTube

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - All Star Internet, Edward James and Brendon Marley have launched a new component of the MonsterHuge affiliate program. Called MonsterTube, it comprises a YouTube-like video player featuring hardcore amateur video that can be placed on an affiliate's web page to work in conjunction with a viral video site. A promotional revshare rate of 80 percent is being offered during the initial days of the program.

"We could no longer ignore the traffic vacuum created by free sites like PornoTube and its many clones," producer James said. "We decided to use viral video not only as a creative way to provide content to our affiliates, but also to give them total control over their visitors [to ensure] that traffic converts for them and nobody else."

The MonsterTube player, placed on the affiliate's site with a snippet of HTML code, plays an assortment of updated hardcore videos from the MonsterHuge collection of amateur gay pay sites. Affiliate-site visitors may view, rate and share the videos with friends through the player without ever leaving the affiliate site, or they may click through the player's embedded affiliate links directly to MonsterHuge pay sites or to the MonsterTube video site itself, where hundreds more video clips are available. All of these avenues provide affiliates opportunities to convert traffic, James said.

"We felt we needed to up the ante on the hosted video angle by not only increasing the opportunities for conversion, but by also returning new traffic to our affiliates' websites by using what we call ‘traffic loops,'" said Hal Star, owner of All Star Internet, the adult-site development company for MonsterHuge and its partners. "These traffic loops are generated on the affiliate's player page through video sharing via email, and on the MonsterTube website through banner and text link-backs to the affiliate site."

The mechanism for video sharing is self-contained on the affiliate website, Star explained. When a surfer invites a friend to view a video via email, the friend is linked back to the player on the affiliate site and to that particular video rather than to the MonsterTube site. The method results in new traffic for affiliates, he said. Affiliates also may submit banner and text links for placement on the front and internal pages of MonsterTube, creating a second "traffic loop" to the affiliate website.

The signup process is straightforward. Affiliates enter their domain and select the pay sites they want to promote; then they place on their Web pages the customized code generated by the signup application. Videos from only the pay sites they selected are delivered to the embedded player using All Star Internet servers and bandwidth. Affiliates also select to submit banners and text links during the signup process.

MonsterTube's partner program operates on a basic fixed-percentage commission of the initial sale with the same rate on recurring rebills. A promotional rate of 80 percent is offered currently.

"I started my first site with Hal and All Star in 1996 under no uncertain terms: Keep it simple, no B.S., make only real amateur video, and without exception treat everyone fairly," said Brendon Marley, producer of the straight-guy seduction videos that carry his name. "MonsterTube is all that and more."

All Star Internet was created in 1996 as an adult pay site development company. It hosts, distributes and markets gay content for amateur video producers through technology-rich websites.
