What’s going on at Hot House? The studio is working on its latest title, tentatively called Whoppers, starring their whopper of an exclusive, Tony Mecelli. He’s a muscular stud who comes across as cocky and aloof, but he certainly performs well. Mecelli has appeared in about a dozen Hot House titles, notably Missing and Mischief, and he’ll headline the new movie with a lot of guys sporting whoppers, of course.

I chatted with Chi Chi LaRue briefly during a break in the super-successful Taken tour she’s doing with superstar Adam Killian and the hot, hot find Mitchell Rock. Next up for LaRue is a gang-bang movie featuring Vance Winter, and a new fireman movie Playing with Fire: 4-Alarm. There will be some first-time bottoming, and that’s always a big draw. And, LaRue knows that for some reason, firemen are always gorgeous looking, and that is going to continue with this sizzling series. These firemen will also have big hoses, she promised.

Michael Lucas is going back to Israel in October, but this time he is going to bring models from all over Europe to Tel Aviv and shoot them with his native countrymen. Tentatively calling the new movie Inside Israel, he plans to team up guys he has found in other parts of Europe (particularly some hot guys he found in Paris and used in his past movies) and bring them over to film at a renowned nude beach in Israel.

“It is a gay beach that is all nude, and you can go there and see guys sucking each other off everywhere,” Lucas said. “We shot above the beach in one scene in Men of Israel, but now we’re going to shoot actually on the beach. And who knows? We may find a few new stars there on the beach.”

While in Israel, Lucas plans to shoot not only his big movie, but also another of his Auditions series and part of his fetish line.

“The men over there are really kinky and want to do raunchy things,” he said.

The crew plans to be in Israel for three weeks.

In the 1990s, club promoter Joe Cornacchia had a wild underground club called the Vampyre Bar where mainstream celebs, porn stars and other Bohemian types mixed. Sometimes Peruvian artist Jon Planas would body paint nude stars like Joey Stefano and Sharon Kane. Well, talk about a revival! Cornaccia just called me from Connecticut and said he will be kicking off another Vampyre Bar (a good move if the popularity of Twilight and “True Blood” is any indication), and Planas once again will be involved (after some successful re-hab).

“No doubt I will once again involve the adult community quite a bit since they were supportive so much in the past, and because a lot of them are vampires,” Cornacchia said.

Meanwhile, he also is teaming up with the Vampire Film Festival, which plans to launch its first gathering in New Orleans at Halloween.

Aaron Travis, a longtime gay reviewer for AVN, broke off to do mainstream stories and became a best-selling mystery novelist under his real name, Steven Saylor. He didn’t give up porn, though: He also wrote some hot erotic short stories. One of them, “The Fratboy and the Faggot,” is included in a new anthology that is hitting shelves now. The Rough Trade collection, published by Bold Strokes Books, is subtitled Dangerous Gay Erotica.

“[‘The Fratboy and the Faggot’] is another vintage Aaron Travis story that has come back into print,” Travis-Saylor said.

Gay erotic shutter masters Tas Limur and Jeremy Lucido have paired their best male erotica in preparation for a photography show that is expected in the fall. Dates and places will be announced soon on TasLimur.com and JeremyLucido.net.
