Grabby Gossip! The FabScout guys made the rounds to the many, many parties and were considered a fun-loving gaggle to follow. Said one fan/friend from Chicago, “I thought the guys from FabScout were the most fun of the bunch—no attitude, loved the fans.” They kicked off the long weekend dancing for Chi Chi LaRue’s “Skin Trade” night on Thursday, and it was parties galore from there.
As it turned out, there were a few porn stars between the ages of 18 and 21 who weren’t able to go to any of the clubs, and certainly weren’t allowed to go to the Grabby show, which always is flowing with booze.
Gossip monger and host for a few of the parties, Jason Sechrest, reported that Grabby porn host and big winner of the night, Diesel Washington, may have had something else on his mind when he went off on a rant about not being appreciated. According to Sechrest, the real story involved cute twink Hayden Chandler, whom Washington took to the show as his date. Chandler hooked up with fellow twinky delight Chase Harding, and the two of them weren’t seen much of the rest of the time.
There were reports of vegetables flying among jealous competitors in the business. A retaliatory tomato hit Howard Andrew of FabScout, but no serious produce-related injuries were reported. Sechrest, however, ended up with a fat lip after Adam Killian unintentionally elbowed him while Killian was making out with Mitchell Rock.
During the awards ceremony, LaRue launched some juicy gossip of her own, revealing Falcon Studios exclusive Roman Heart is expected to do as many as two movies for LaRue’s Channel 1 Releasing this summer. And Dean Monroe may do a scene with Diesel Washington.
LaRue was particularly gracious when it was announced she tied with Chris Ward for the Best Director award: She brought every nominated director in attendance up on stage and said, “I’m going to break [this award] up into pieces for each of us. We have been through a tough year with the piracy and the economy, and we are all still standing here and making incredible movies and we all deserve this award.” Bravo!
Richard Halpern, a former GAYVN Awards judge and reviewer, is body painting hot guys nowadays during the Manhunt-sponsored “Rim Job” floorshow every Tuesday night at MJ’s Bar in West Hollywood, Calif. Halpern calls the performance “Glow Job.” Billed as “Glow Master Danny,” he paints as many parts as he can get to.
Rim Job is hosted by Brad Benton, who keeps the banter going as guys gyrate and Danny paints, starting at 9 p.m.
“It was a lot of fun, and a big, smash success,” said Halpern. “I body-paint the go-go boys with fluorescent body paint, under black-light, and members of the audience who want to get up and glow.”
He’s had a few brave takers from the audience, but he wants more.
On Friday, New York resort hotspot Fire Island will kick off a summer of parties with the Pantychrist (Daniel Nardicio) and DJ Adam. The event is known as the world’s longest underwear party (and that doesn’t mean long underwear, either). Porn studs and Peruvian twins Rafael and Christo are scheduled to dance at the Ice Palace.
