Chi Chi LaRue is gearing up to release a big two-parter, The Wrong Side of the Tracks, starring Johnny Hazzard. Just after the production wrapped, LaRue was all excited, talking about how All Worlds "graciously lent me" Chad Savage and Kevin Brown to star with her Rascal Video exclusive Hazzard and new exclusives Luke Strong and Tyler Riggz. Also in the cast are Eddie Stone, Tommy Ritter, Marcus Iron, Trevor Knight, Benjamin Bradley, Theo Blake, and others. Looks like a biggie!
LaRue has stayed away from story videos lately, but this one has the gravity of some of the director's earlier works. It involves a sleazy stepfather, parallel lives, rich and poor neighborhoods, and more — if that's not intriguing enough. LaRue came up with the idea and Doug Jeffries scripted the dialogue. Then, LaRue's doing a down-and-dirty all-oral movie that takes place in a toilet. It's called Head. Look also for LaRue's Master of the Housewith Filippo Romano, Tommy Ritter, and Jan Fischer.
Chi Chi, by the way, is baffled by the attacks Michael Lucas is making on him in the press, his blog, and in his videos. "I always thought we were friends," LaRue said, "but I guess not." Meanwhile, Lucas continues his battle with Owen Hawk's Dark Alley Media, demanding $50,000 in damages because Dark Alley hired a Lucas employee who, Lucas claims, brought insider secrets with him.
The late Tony Alizzi is still alive thanks to the movies he completed for his company, MSR Videos, shortly before his untimely death. One of the latest to be released, Shooters, was co-directed by reviewer/director J.C. Adams. Alizzi died earlier this year, leaving the production company in limbo, but friends have come together to continue the legacy of this award-winning company.
