Editor's Note: Michael Lucas is indeed alive. The e-mail announcing his death turns out to have been a publicity stunt to promote his upcoming film. Lucas is sorry for the stunt and for upsetting people in the industry.
NEW YORK - Lucas Entertainment's press team has released a statement claiming "founder and CEO, Michael Lucas, was found dead in his Manhattan apartment last night."
At time of press, no confirmations have been made to the claim; however porn bloggers have already begun to suspect the Lucas Entertainment Press Machine to be up to some sort of publicity stunt-due to the fact that most police crime scene photographs don't come with a company logo embedded in them.
GAYVN was unable to reach anyone at Lucas Entertainment at press time. Additionally, Lucas' mobile phone is "going straight to voice mail," according to Chad Beecher, Publisher of GAYVN.
