NEW YORK - Lucas Entertainment president and chief executive officer Michael Lucas is featured on the cover of the January/February 2008 issue of Genre magazine, the oldest national consumer magazine for gay men.
"America loves Michael Lucas; I am just giving the people what they want," said Genre editor in chief Neal Boulton.
The cover story features a 12-page, black-and-white fashion spread by photographer Ray Lego along with quotes from Lucas about his life philosophies.
"I am very proud that Genre chose me to be on their cover, as national consumer magazines - even if they are gay - tend to shy away from putting members of the adult community front and center," Lucas said.
The issue hits U.S. newsstands Jan. 15. It also will be available on newsstands in England and Germany.
Boulton's newly relaunched version of Genre focuses on the "core" interests of men: fitness, sex and relationships, entertainment, travel, gear and fashion. He employed a similar sensibility when he previously relaunched Men's Fitness.
