CHATSWORTH, Calif - Nectar Entertainment, acclaimed for creating high-end, sex-positive, straight-couples movies, is now offering that winning formula to gay couples under its new gay imprint, Maximus.
“We see our movies as mood enhancers that couples can use to reignite the spark in their relationships, and that’s something that can work for couples of any sexuality,” Nectar CEO Sean Logan said.
“We scoured the world to find a gay director we believed would be capable of executing that vision," Logan continued, "and we feel we found him in Paulo Desantos, a Brazilian we recruited from the mainstream advertising world.”
Maximus will specialize in producing high-end, all-sex productions that showcase international men with a variety of physiques and exotic locations. The budget on a typical Maximus production approaches $75,000, Logan said.
Desantos will shoot the first six Maximus movies in Brazil, featuring an all-Brazilian cast and exotic locations such as private beaches, private yachts, and waterfalls.
Maximus’ first release, Island Boys, is slated for a January release.
