Marvin, Andreas Breakup Leads to New Footage for Collin O’Neal

BUENOS AIRES - Popular longtime gay-porn couple Daniel Marvin and Pedro Andreas have split, but Marvin, at least, will remain in the industry, according to producer-director Collin O'Neal.

O'Neal recently captured Marvin's first on-camera performance with new partner Juan Blas. According to O'Neal, after a three-year relationship during which they worked only as a couple Marvin and Andreas "got tangled up" in a threesome with Blas. Over time Marvin and Blas developed a strong emotional connection, and eventually Andreas decided to bow out.

"Daniel told me what happened over lunch after the shoot," O'Neal said. "There was no drama - just a natural emotional progression and then a breakup. No big drama."

The breakup couldn't have come at a better time for O'Neal, who was looking for new content for his website but already had declined to shoot any more scenes featuring Marvin and Andreas.

"I am going to be working on a travel show in the month of April, so I needed to beef up the content on my website so I could concentrate on my mainstream Hollywood projects," O'Neal said. "The last time I was in Buenos Aires, Daniel and Pedro wanted to work with me again, but I told Daniel I just couldn't film them together again since they had done too much porn together and refused to work without each other."

When Marvin heard O'Neal was returning to Buenos Aires as part of his whirlwind, worldwide content-shooting tour, Marvin got in touch and suggested O'Neal shoot him and Blas instead.

"I'm not very good at jumping on opportunities that are presented out of what I perceive to be negative situations, but Daniel made it very clear that all was good between him and Pedro, so I agreed to shoot him and Juan," O'Neal said.

O'Neal's current world tour has included Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Turkey and Spain. In each country, he looked for fresh faces to present in scenes on his website.

"I'm not a porn factory," he said. "If I just kept using the same models every other company does, it just wouldn't be worth it for me. I need to be challenged to find fresh models, and over the next few months you will see some guys that will only be on my website."

O'Neal plans to return to the U.S. in time to attend the GAYVN Awards March 28. His company, World of Men, is nominated for seven 2009 GAYVN Awards. After the awards show, he will fly to South Africa, Zambia and Tanzania as part of his new venture in mainstream television, he said.
