Mark Dalton Parole Approved

MINERAL WELLS, Texas - The Board of Pardons and Paroles, a division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, on Friday approved Jeramy James Sons for early release Feb. 16. Sons uses the name Mark Dalton in the adult entertainment industry.

Following his release, Dalton plans to reside in his hometown of Denton, Texas. He also plans to be available for private meetings in the Dallas area, according to his former agent, David Forest.

Forest also said Dalton currently has no plans to appear on stage or video.

Dalton originally was sentenced to probation in 2002 on GHB-possession charges. A judge revoked the probation in 2004 following an assault charge and required Dalton to spend time as a guest of the TDCJ. He was paroled in November 2005. In June 2007, he was arrested following an altercation at his home in Denton, and after serving 90 days in county jail on two misdemeanor assault charges to which he pleaded guilty, he was returned to a TDCJ facility at Mineral Wells, Texas, for parole violation. When he is paroled this time, he will have served 18 months of a four-year term.

Dalton's most recent adult video appearance was in Mark Meets Zeb: The Texas Two-Step (Zeb Atlas Productions, 2007). Prior to that, he appeared in Super Soaked (Jocks Studios, 2005).

"I am elated that Mark will finally be a free man again," Forest said. "I think this long stretch behind bars will definitely be his last one."
