Mark Dalton Denied Parole in 2008

VAN NUYS, Calif. - A Texas parole board on Jan. 24 denied early release for adult entertainer Mark Dalton, who consequently will remain incarcerated until at least 2009 and could be behind bars until 2011.

He is not eligible for another parole hearing until January 2009.

Dalton originally was sentenced to probation in 2002 on drug charges. A judge revoked the probation in 2004 following an assault charge and required Dalton to spend time as a guest of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, from which he was paroled in November 2005. In May 2007, he was re-arrested after an altercation at his home in Denton, Texas, and after serving 90 days in county jail on two misdemeanor assault charges to which he pleaded guilty, he was returned to a TDCJ facility for parole violation.

According to his agent, David Forest, the latest date at which Dalton may be released is in May 2011.
