NEW YORK - Twelve-year adult entertainment industry photographer, videographer, scriptwriter and editor "Mr. Pam" Doré has signed a contract to serve as creative director of film and production for Lucas Entertainment .
Doré's creative efforts for the studio to date have included Gigolo, Flatiron Fuckers, Pounding the Pavement and Brothers' Reunion, and Lucas Entertainment president and chief executive officer Michael Lucas said Doré's work on all of the titles proved her to be a talented, dedicated professional.
"Pam is not only an amazing, creative professional, but also a wonderful person who always brings a strong positive energy to the set," he said. "She's consistently cheerful and an incredibly hard-working woman. In fact, I've never worked with anyone who would be able to go through literal day-long shoots and keep smiling the entire time.
"It's always great to work with her," he added. "She knows exactly what I need and is loved by all the models. When my mother passed away four months ago, I was not able to entirely dedicate myself to the scheduled production. I was especially grateful that Pam completely took over directing on the days I wasn't available. She was so hands-on, and that's when I saw how reliable and dedicated she is."
Doré said going to work for Lucas full-time works for her on a number of levels.
"After 12 years of shooting and editing scenes with hundreds of hot men for all the top studios in the industry, I'm super-excited to join sexy, savvy Michael Lucas and his team at Lucas Entertainment," she said. "I've had the honor of getting to know Michael beyond his ‘on stage' persona, and he's fabulous. I believe we're an excellent match: hard-working, sexually creative, silly and not afraid to break the rules.
"I'm also very eager to relocate from San Francisco to New York City and to have the opportunity to pour all my creativity and pornographic passion into the East Coast's most accomplished studio."
Doré moved to San Francisco in 1995 to complete her college education and, she said, "be gay." During graduate school internships she learned the art of video editing while working for United Airlines, Hot House Entertainment and Falcon Studios. After graduating with a master's degree in video production, Doré worked for CNET and News.com (then separate entities) and as a freelance camerawoman for QTV Newsmagazine. She also provided graphic design, marketing assistance and videography for event promoters and amateur adult industry events.
After six years of what she called "the beige cubicle," Doré jumped off the high-tech news train and back into adult entertainment.
Prior to signing a contract with Lucas, Doré served as videographer and editor for NakedSword's Tim & Roma Show. She also shot and edited award-winning movies and other content for COLT Studio Group, Black Scorpion Entertainment, Collin O'Neal's World of Men, Jet Set Men and Studio 2000, among others. Her DVD-extras-turned-full-length-documentary, eXposed: The Making of a Legend (COLT, 2005), enjoyed a sold-out premiere in San Francisco and screenings during 21 film festivals around the world.
"Anyone who has worked with me knows that I truly love my gay boys and love shooting boys humping," she said. "I'm eagerly anticipating this new chapter of my professional career with Lucas Entertainment."
