NEW YORK—Gay adult studio Lucas Entertainment has begun shipping its latest release, Obsession. The erotic psychological thriller uncovers the madness of lust as it follows a group of men down the dark paths of compulsive desire.
Starring Spencer Reed, Johnny Angel, Johnny Lee and Kyle DeAnthony with special appearances by Lucas Entertainment exclusives Wilfried Knight, Michael Lucas, Avi Dar and Matan Shalev, Obsession probes the emotional and sexual tension between a philandering psychiatrist (Knight) and his deranged patient (Shalev). Over the course of five hardcore scenes, the men take control of their passions only to confront the disturbing consequences that erupt when they satisfy intense cravings. Who is the prey? Who is the predator? Everything culminates in an unexpected twist at the end.
“The script for Obsession started off as a means to expose the insanity of impassioned desire,” explained writer and co-director Nate MacNamara. “What we came up with was an intense sexual exploration of where lust can lead.”
Producer and co-director Lucas said filming the title proved to be an obsession of another kind.
“Everyone had to step up their game for this film,” he noted. “It was a challenging movie to act in, to shoot, to edit. We put every aspect through the ringer for this. We wanted every frame to be authentic: the rain, the lightning, the drowning. It all had to make sense and tie in to these heated sexual scenarios.
“We paid close attention to detail to get everything right,” he added. “mr. Pam even stood out in the bay with water coming up to her neck to get the perfect shot. This movie took us over, and now we are excited to share our Obsession with you.”
